Frequently asked questions
How quickly can care start?
For most enquiries we call you back the same working day and can arrange a free home assessment within 48 hours. In urgent situations, such as a discharge from hospital, we will do our best to start sooner.
Is the home assessment really free?
Yes. A senior member of our team will visit, listen to what is needed and write a personal care plan. There is no charge and no obligation.
How are your carers selected?
Every carer is interviewed, reference-checked and asked for police clearance before working with clients, then completes our induction training. We match carers to clients by needs, language and personality.
I live outside Zimbabwe. Can you look after my parents?
Yes. Many of our families live in the UK, South Africa, Australia and elsewhere. You can arrange everything remotely, and we send regular updates by WhatsApp, phone or email.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in central Harare and serve Harare and surrounding areas. Contact us about other towns; we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
Can the care plan change later?
Of course. Needs change, so we review care plans regularly and you can increase, reduce or pause visits by talking to our office.
